IVA LEE CARMON STEWART FLORENCE, S.C. IVA LEE CARMON STEWART, 91, of Florence, passed away Saturday June 22, 2013 in a Florence hospital after an illness. Mrs. Stewart was born in Florence County, a daughter of the late Shell and Belia Lee Carmon. She was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church and loved gardening, canning, working in the yard, cooking, bingo, and spending time with her family and friends. For many years, she was employed at the Flamingo Restaurant as a waitress, and also assisted her husband at Larry’s Superette. She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Leurea L. Stewart of Florence; son, Larry Stewart of Florence; four grandchildren, Annelle (Bo) Osborne, Charlotte (David) Price, Michelle Stewart, and Marsha Stone, all of Florence; eight great-grandchildren, Justin, Joe, Wes, Drew, Dargan, Riley, Reagan and Kaden; her sisters, Addie Carmon Crawford and Shirley Carmon Parrott, both of Florence, her brother, Shell Carmon, Jr. of Columbia, and a number of special nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Stewart is preceded in death by 5 sisters and 1 brother. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 25, 2013 in the chapel of Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-3:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
