Irene Nettles Jump

Irene Nettles Jump, 83, of Effingham, SC, passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 after an illness. Mrs. Jump was born in Florence Co., SC a daughter of the late Comer Gray and Corrine Broach Gray.She was a Manager for Pantom Manufacturing in Florence. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by herfirst husband, Hoyt Nettles, who passed away in 1978 and her second husband, Art Jump, who passed away in 2006; son, Mitchell Nettles; granddaughter, Jennifer Summersett, four brothers and 1 sister. Surviving are her children, Linda Fournier in Denton, TX and Gene (Linda) Nettles of Florence; 3 grandchildren, Kristen Nettles, Austin Nettles and April Nettles; a number of great-grandchildren; sisters, Loretta Passailaique of Summerville, Esther Brooks of Beaufort, Mary McKissick of Florence and Nancy McGee of Effingham and many nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to Piney Grove Church of God of Prophecy. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, January 8, 2015 in the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel.Burial will follow Florence Memorial Gardens.
