Ira Thomas Brown

Ira Thomas Brown, 59, of Florence, passed away on Saturday, March 10, 2018. Mr. Brown was born in Florence, SC a son of the late Harold Brown and Janet Phillips Brown Enzor.He was an avid bowler, having bowled the first sanctioned 300 on April 2, 1986. He was inducted into PDUSBC Hall of Fame in 2014. Surviving are his son, Ira Thomas (Janet) Brown, II of Clayton, NC; daughter, Heather (Roger) Blackman of Florence, SC; grandchildren, Colin Brown, Reed Brown, Caroline Brown and Ryan Blackman; brother, Greg Brown of Florence; sister, Leatha Wayne (Russell) of Florence and a special niece, Kera Wayne of Florence. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at Stoudenmire Dowling Funeral Home.Interment at a later date at Mount Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at the funeral home.
