Hubert Francis Boatwright

Hubert Francis Boatwright, 83, of Florence, passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at McLeod Regional Medical Center after an illness. Mr. Boatwright was born in Marion, SC a son of the late Edward Luther Boatwright and Edith Richardson Boatwright.He was a US Air Force veteran and retired from the Railroad, both of which he was very proud of. He was preceded in death by his parents; step-father who raised him, William Marvin Harper and by a brother, Edward Earl Boatwright. Surviving are his brother, William Lewis Harper of Florence; sister, Edith Virginia Gray of Charlotte, NC and a number of nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, January 30, 2015 at the Florence National Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
