Hiram H. Moseley

Rev. Hiram H. Mosely, 77, of Florence, passed away Monday, January 19, 2015 at Carolinas Hospital System after a long illness. Rev. Moseley was born in Winnsboro, son of the late Rev. Hubert and Ethel Hollis Moseley. He had retired from the Chaplains’ Service of the United States Air force after 35 years, having served in Vietnam. He later retired as a pastor of Christ Episcopal Church. Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Ruth Smith Moseley; son, Mark H. Moseley and his wife Tonya of Florence; daughter, Renee R. Kent and her husband Eric of Yorktown, VA; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, January 22, 2015 at John Calvin Presbyterian Church conducted by Pastor Scott Hill. Burial will follow in Christ Church Cemetery, directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
