Hilda Callahan Mclellan

Hilda Callahan McLellan, 82, of Florence, SC, passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2017. Mrs. McLellan was born in Bladenboro, NC, a daughter of the late Garlon Callahan and Esther Todd Callahan.She worked and retired from Florence School District 1 after eighteen years of service.Mrs. McLellan was a member of Liberty Chapel United Methodist Church. Surviving are her son, Kenny (Wanda) McLellan, of Florence; daughters, Irene (Jerry) Stone, Felice (Mike) Russell and Marsha (Terry) Pigg, all of Florence; twelve grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and brother, Wayne (Kat) Callahan of Bladenboro, NC. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-eight and a half years, Ronald “Bill” McLellan, Sr. ; her son, Ronald McLellan, Jr.; and grandson, Seth Russell. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 25, 2017, at Liberty Chapel United Methodist Church.Burial will follow at the church cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
