Hilbert Harry Paxton

Hilbert Harry Paxton Florence, SC Hilbert Harry Paxton, 96, of Florence, passed away Friday, June 29, 2012 in a local healthcare facility after an illness. Mr. Paxton was born in Akron, Ohio, a son of the late James and Nellie Harry Paxton.He was an amateur radio operator and a member of the Florence Amateur Radio Club. Mr. Paxton retired from Goodyear after nearly 38 years as a truck driver. He was a veteran of the US Army. Mr. Paxton is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Eleanor Wilson Paxton; and two sons, James David Paxton and Roger Allen Paxton. Mr. Paxton is survived by his daughter, Judie (Fred) Moser, of Florence; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
