HERMIS “BUDDY” LAVERN POSTON FLORENCE, SC HERMIS “BUDDY” LAVERN POSTON, 75, of Florence, passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2015. Mr. Poston was born in Andrews, SC a son of the late Hermis Poston and Roxie Howard Poston.After the passing of his father, at a young age, he was forced to leave school to help his mother care for his younger siblings.He was a US Army veteran and spent most of his life in the construction business. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Lisa Poston; brothers, Tony Poston and James Poston and sister, Delma Brown. Surviving are his sons, Brad Poston and his fiancée, Allison, and Matt Poston and his girlfriend, Sam; siblings, Aaron Poston, Loretta Shaw, Myra Ruth, Linda Poston, Burnell Benjamin and Stanley Poston; lifelong friend, Debbie Bryant and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 PM Tuesday, July 7, 2015 in the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel.Burial will be held at Woodlawn Park Cemetery South in Miami, FL at a later date.
