Herman Eugene Prosser

HERMAN EUGENE PROSSER, 59, of Effingham, passed away on Monday, November 4, 2013 at Carolinas Hospital System. Mr. Prosser was born in Florence Co., SC a son of the late Eugene Prosser and Dorothy Lee Stone Prosser.He was a member of Shiloh Church of God of Prophecy in Coward.He was a crane operator and farmer, formerly employed with Academy Awards of Florence. Surviving are his wife of 38 years, Sandra Carraway Prosser of Effingham; daughter, Samantha Prosser of Effingham; grandson, Lance Prosser of Effingham; great-grandson, Ryder Williams of Effingham; brother, Ricky (Georgia) Prosser of Effingham; sisters, Barbara Jean Waters of Effingham, Rosa Lee (Chester) Cox of Florence, Nollie “Libby” (Mervin) Drew of Mullins and Dorothy “Katie” (John) Jones of Effingham and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, November 7, 2013 at the Shiloh Church of God of Prophecy.Burial will follow in the church cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home and other times at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Chester Cox, 4243 Pamplico Highway, Florence, SC.
