Henry Martin Campbell, Jr. Florence, SC Henry Martin Campbell, Jr., 81, died Sunday March 27, 2011 at his residence after an illness. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at Calvary Baptist Church in Florence. A Committal service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Anderson, SC., burial will follow directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home of Florence. Mr. Campbell was born in Anderson, SC a son of the late Henry Martin and Ruby Willingham Campbell. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and the Lephon Small Sunday School Class. He had also served as a Deacon at Immanuel Baptist Church. He was employed with Southern Bell Telephone Company for 31 years working in various locations such as Anderson, Seneca, Union and Florence, and retiringin 1980 as District Plant Manager in Charleston, SC. Mr. Campbell went on to work with Trayco, Inc. for 19 years. He earned his Masonic Master's Degree at the Anderson Lodge in 1957 and became a Shriner in 1967. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Lewis Campbell. Surviving are his loving wife of 60 years, Mary Jane Simpson Campbell of the home; Children, Deborah J. "Debi" Campbell of Charleston, Henry M. "Hank" Campbell, III of Florence, Michael W. (Sandra) Campbell of Charleston and Jimmy R. (Joni) Campbell of Pendleton, SC; grandchildren, Michael (Ashley) Campbell, Summer (Shaun) Haugh, Rachel (Bobby) Morrow and Erin Campbell; great-grandchildren, Conner and Keira Haugh; brothers, David R. (Mary) Campbell of Anderson and his beloved pet, Winston. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Tuesday at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to McLeod Hospice, P.O. Box 100551 Florence, SC 29502.
