HENRY JOHN RUSSELL, II FLORENCE, S.C. HENRY JOHN RUSSELL, II, 87, of Florence, passed away Friday, November 23, 2012 in McLeod Hospice House after an illness. Mr. Russell was born in Alexandria, VA, a son of the late William Knight and Edna Hansen Russell. He was a US Navy veteran of WWII. A loving father and husband, he was an avid golfer and coin collector. Surviving are his wife of 41 years, Linda Pierce Russell; children, Richard Russell, Margaret Pico, Henry Russell, Nancy Henry and Rebecca Arnold; six grandchildren; brother, William Knight Russell, Jr; sister, Dorothy Russell Magratten, and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Russell Nolan. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Monday, November 26, 2012 in St. John's Episcopal Church. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the Florence Little Theater. Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home is assisting the family.
