Henry Alfred Revell

Henry Alfred Revell Florence, SC Henry A. Revell, 76, died Friday evening, June 1, 2012 at his residence after a valiant battle with cancer. Mr. Revell was born in Florence County, SC a son of the late Henry H. and Mary Elizabeth Willis Revell. He was Owner and President of Royal Knight Formal Wear in Florence. He was a member of the South Carolina National Guard for 14 years and a member of the Sertoma Club in Florence, having received the Sertoman of the year award during the 1980's. He was a faithful member of John Calvin Presbyterian Church and former Elder and Deacon of the Church. Surviving are his loving wife of 53 years, Sherrelle Humphries Revell of the home; 2 children, Celeste (Michael) McCutcheon of Florence and Jack A. (Alexis) Revell of Hot Springs, Arkansas; 4 grandchildren, Hank McCutcheon, Harley, Presley and Jaxon Revell; one brother, James W. Revell of Florence; sister, Elizabeth R. Lane of Sumter. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 4, 2012 at John Calvin Presbyterian Church. Entombment will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery Mausoleum, directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Sunday at the Funeral Home.
