Helen Lynch Perkins

Helen Lynch Perkins, 82, of Florence, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, June 25, 2019, surrounded by family.She was the loving wife of Mr. Harry Wallace Perkins. They shared 64 wonderful years together in marriage. Born in Florence County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Leo Lynch and Cecilia Conner Lynch.She completed her High School education and went on to acquire a management degree at Florence Darlington Technical College. She accomplished a lifelong career in manufacturing management at several plants in South Carolina.Mrs. Perkins loved to show her skills at fishing and adored spending her free time at the beach with family and friends.After retirement she enjoyed traveling, early morning yard sales, cruising the flea market and spending time with loved ones by the pool. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Leo Legrand Lynch and Rue Allen Lynch. Mrs. Perkins is survived by her husband, Harry Wallace Perkins; daughters, Harriett Pavasko of Prince George, VA and Teresa (Heather) Perkins of Florence; grandchildren, Harry Pavasko, Bryan (Meagan) Pavasko, Amber (Cody) Gaddy, Shannon Pavasko, Tyler (Hallie) Powell, Katelynn Pavasko and Alexis Kennison; great-grandchildren, Trinity, Milana, Caleb, Colton, Castle, and Bryson; brothers, Jimmy (Dot) Lynch of Florence, Joe Lynch of Florence and Cecil (Jackie) Lynch of Raeford, NC; and sisters, Janet (Ronnie) Russ and Ruby Evans, all of Florence. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 29, 2019, at the Florence Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel.Entombment will follow the service directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
