Helen Rose Lane

HELEN ROSE (DURNING) LANE FLORENCE, SC Helen Rose (Durning) Lane, 89, died Thursday, October 24, 2013 in the McLeod Hospice House. Helen was born in Parrsboro, Nova Scotia, a daughter of the late Samuel Graham Durning and Susan Rose (McLellan) Durning. She was predeceased by her husband Charles L Lane, parents, three sisters, Dorothy (Bill) Hunt, Florence (LeRoy) Faulkner, Beryl (Clinton) McKay and stepmother Mary Florence Durning. Surviving are her brothers, Robert G. (Janine) Durning of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, William H. (Lucie)Durning of Ottawa, Ontario; brother-in-law, LeRoy Faulkner of Economy, Nova Scotia; special friend, Grace Miner of Florence, SC; and a number of nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, November 1, 2013, at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel.
