Helen Drake Jordan Florence, SC Helen Drake Jordan, 89 of Julian NC and most recently of Florence SC passed away on Friday, December 21, 2012 at Commander Nursing Center in Florence, SC. A graveside service will be held 10:00 AM Monday, at Lakeview Memorial Park, with Reverend Jerry Strader officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Sunday, at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home. Helen was born November 19, 1923 in Greensboro, NC to the late William Drake and Irene Hart Drake.She retired from Lorillard Tobacco Company after over 30 years of service. She was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents Mrs. Jordanis predeceased by her husband,Roy B Jordan andtwo brothers, William James Drake, Jr. and Ralph Bernard Drake. Survivors include her two children, Shelia Jordan Bett (Bob) of Florence, SC and Derwin T. Jordan (Debra) of Julian, NC; 3 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
