Helen Barnett Hollowell Florence, SC Helen Barnett Hollowell, 79, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, January 08, 2013 in a Florence health care facility. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, January 10, 2013 in the Florence Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel. Entombment will follow, directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 10 – 11 AM Thursday prior to the service at the cemetery. Mrs. Hollowell was born in 1933 in Duplin Co., NC a daughter of the late Walter Jones and Mabel Whitman Jones.She was a homemaker and wife of 58 years to the late J. B. Hollowell of Mount Olive, NC.They made Florence their home for 44 years. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Joseph Bryant Hollowell, Sr. Surviving are a son, Bryant (Cathy) Hollowell of Effingham; daughters, Belinda (Pat) Casey of Effingham, B.J. (Tim) Landrum of Conway and Beth (Ronnie) Summersett of Florence; grandchildren, Christy (Tom) Papeo, Corinna Hyman, Brian (Heather) Casey, Amber (Josh) Wall, Justin Landrum and Caitlyn Landrum; 7great-grandchildren.
