Harry Hugh Weatherford

Harry Hugh Weatherford, Sr., 88, of Pamplico, SC, passed away on Monday, December 28, 2020. Mr. Weatherford was born in Darlington, SC.He was a veteran of the US Air Force and retired after 21 years of service.He then went to Florence-Darlington Tech where he earned his HVAC degree.He worked locally and travelled with construction work until retirement. He was preceded in death by his mother, Edna V. Purvis; daughter, Virginia “Jenny” Todd; and grandson, Josh Weatherford. Surviving are his wife, Catherine Locklair Weatherford; sons, Harry (Barbara) Weatherford, Jr. of Shreveport, LA and Barry (Cindy) Weatherford of Irmo, SC; daughters, Carol Little of Florence, SC and Kathy (Johnnie) Pergerson of Reidsville, NC; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, www.heart.org. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, December 31, 2020 at the Florence National Cemetery with military honors by the US Air Force Honor Guard from Charleston Air Force Base, directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
