Harriett Jordan Young

Harriett Jordan Young, 81, of Florence, SC, passed away Friday, July 17, 2026.

She was the daughter of the late Charles Jordan and Jerry Clark Jordan.

She regularly attended South Florence Baptist Church in the past when she was able. She was home maker and raised her 2 children. Harriett was also an avid fisherman with her husband.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, William Young; brother, Chuck Jordan; and son in law, Brian Lee Hull.

She is survived by her daughter, Melinda Hull; grandchildren are Charter Captain Michael Brian Hull (Claire Collins) of Murrells Inlet, SC and Petty Officer with the Coast Guard William Addison Hull (Zoe Bittner); great grandson, Callie Carter Collins; son, William David Young II; and nephews include Barry Stone, Todd Stone, Jeff Stone, Tony Stone, Mel Young, Jason Young, and Aaron Stone.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, August 23, 2026 at 3:00 PM at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
