Griffith Charles Henry

Griffith C. Henry, 85, of Florence, SC, passed away on Friday, July 2, 2021. Mr. Henry was born a son of the late Margaret Owen Henry and Charles Norbert Henry. He was a member of Highland Park United Methodist Church and a member of the Church Choir since 1964.He was very involved in Boy Scout Troop 402 where he served as an Assistant Scout Master for over thirty years.He was a Process Engineer with DuPont until his retirement. Mr. Henry is survived by his wife, Patricia Lou Ferris Henry; sons, Robert “Bob” G. Henry (Jeannie) of West Columbia, SC, Randal Scott Henry (Melani) of Mobile, AL and Douglas “Doug” Henry (Bethany) of Clemson, SC; eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM – 12:00 noon at Highland Park United Methodist Church on Saturday, July 10, 2021. Funeral service will follow at 12:00 noon at the Church directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. A private burial will take place at Florence National Cemetery.
