Grayson Luke Morrison

Grayson Luke Morrison, 8 years old, of Effingham, passed away on Tuesday, August 10, 2021. Grayson was born a son of Candace Player Morrison and Ernest Morrison. He is predeceased by his great-grandfather, Jessie Player, and uncle, Terry Player. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brothers, Dallas Joe Player and Wyatt James Morrison; grandparents, Candice and James Espin, of Fayetteville, NC; Donnie and Debbie Player of Florence, Pamela McCall of Culpepper, VA and Ernest Morrison (Carole) of Bedford, VA; great-grandparents, Geraldine Player of Florence, and Catherine Littleton of Greensboro, NC and Russ and Rita Courtney of Greenwood, IN and; and aunts and uncles, Kimberly Player of Florence, Janine Cruz and Ana Balderas, both of VA, Joseph Espin of NC and Charles Strickland of Florence; and great aunts and uncles, Nancy Russell of Florence, Connie Bryan Morrison of Bedford, VA; and Kenneth Player (Diane) of Florence. Family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 PM on Sunday, August 15, 2021, at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday in the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel.Burial will follow at Matthews Cemetery.
