Grady Richard Branham

Grady Richard Branham, 90, of Florence, SC passed away Thursday, September 7, 2017. Grady was born in Kershaw County, SC, a son of the late Dewitt T. Branham, Sr. and Boidie Rabon Branham. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Florence, SC. Grady was a former Sunday School Teacher, Past Chairman of Board of Deacons and served many other roles at Calvary Baptist Church. After 39 years, he retired from DuPont Inc. Grady served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.He was devoted to his wife, children and grandchildren and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, D.T. Branham Jr. and James T. Branham. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Joan Ballard Branham of Florence, SC, two daughters, Dr. Cheryl Ann Branham of Rockville, MD and Deryl Branham Snowden (Dr. Douglas) of Timmonsville, SC; two sisters, Dolly Jean Branham and Carol Branham Krier (John) both of Lugoff, SC; a niece, Lana Branham Todd (Bob); a brother-in-law, Donald Busch Ballard (Patti); four grandchildren, Jennifer Elizabeth Snowden, John Douglas Snowden, Jr., Grady Richard Snowden (Elaine) and Patricia Ann Snowden; and two great-grandchildren, Sophia Ashley Snowden and James Ascher Snowden. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, September 10, 2017 at Calvary Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Lugoff First Baptist Church Cemetery, Lugoff, SC at 6:00 PM.
