GLORIA JEAN HORNE SUTTON EFFINGHAM, SC GLORIA JEAN HORNE SUTTON, 65, of Effingham, passed away on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at the Medical University of South Carolina hospital in Charleston, SC. Mrs. Sutton was born in Florence, a daughter of the late Edward Jesse Horne, Sr. andAlberta Hutchinson Horne.She was a Medical Transcriptionist at McLeod Regional Medical Center for 20 years. She was preceded in death by her parents and by her husband, Gilbert Monroe Sutton, who passed away on July 19, 1999. Surviving are her sons and their wives, Gilbert Nicholas "Nick" and Tammie Sutton of Florence and Richard Anthony "Tony" and Lisa Sutton of Columbia, SC; her siblings and their spouses, Diann Wendy and Ronald Eaddy and Teddy Dale and Robin Horne of Florence and Edward Jesse "Snooky" and Lynn Horne of Lexington; grandchildren, Jennifer Lynn Kelly, Terry Wayne Turbeville, Kayne Sutton and Travis Wayne Turbeville; great-grandchild, Anna Turbeville and nieces, Elyse Jennings and Kirbi Eaddy. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, October 14, 2012 in the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home chapel.Burial will follow in Prosser Cemetery, Pamplico.
