Gloria Mcknight Dennis

Gloria McKnight Dennis, 76, of Scranton, SC passed away Saturday, November 17, 2018 at her residence. Mrs. Dennis was born in Scranton, SC a daughter of the late Otis McKnight and Lula Lamb McKnight. She attended Effingham Church of God. Gloria was a loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother, who enjoyed being in her garden and loved to fish. She is preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Susan Powell; a brother, O’Neal McKnight; a sister, Betty Foxworth; and a great-grandchild, Mason Powell. Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Wesley Alton Dennis of Scranton; a son, Timothy “Tim” Dennis (Debra) of Scranton; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM, Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Effingham Church of God, conducted by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery, East Hwy 378.
