Glenn David Lee

Glenn David Lee, 73, of Effingham, passed away on Friday, August 30, 2013, at a local healthcare facility. Mr. Lee was born in Effingham, a son of the late Woodrow L. Lee and Lena Rivers Galloway Lee.He was a US Coastguard Veteran, serving two tours in Vietnam.Mr. Lee was a truck driver owning and operating his own truck for twelve years.He was a member of the VFW and CPOA. Surviving are his wife of 21 years, Francesca L. Kupper Lee; son, Maximillian P. Lee, of Effingham; daughter, Dawn Lowe, of Pinellas Park, FL; brothers, Charles E. Lee, of Effingham and Woodrow S. Lee, of Florence; sister, Loreen L. Law, of Florence; and grandchildren, Woodrow and Loretta Lowe. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 6, 2013 at Florence National Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
