Glenda Faircloth Lee

Glenda Faircloth Lee, 70, of Effingham, SC, passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2016. Mrs. Lee was born in Wilmington, NC, a daughter of the late James Hubert Faircloth and Inez Gore Faircloth Ward. She graduated from McClenaghan High School. She worked at Socar for approximately 30 years before retirement.Mrs. Lee attended Lebanon Free Will Baptist Church. Mrs. Lee loved to bake for shut-ins and her love for her family was her priority in life. Surviving are her husband, Lewis “Pete” Lee; son, Dennis M. (Pam) Hardwick, Jr. of Forked River, NJ; daughter, DeNeen Hardwick (Larry) Gilbert of Hartsville; daughter-in-Law, Beverly Ray Hatchell of Florence; grandchildren, Morgan Inman (John David) Phillips of Hartsville, Sydney Lee Hardwick of Florence, Lucas W. Hatchell of Florence and Zachary D. Hardwick of Forked River, NJ; great-grandchild, Marissa Keely Phillips of Hartsville; brother, Richard (Phyllis) Faircloth of Loris, SC and a number of special aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 3, 2016, at the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home and, at other times, the family will be meeting at the home.
