Gladys Poston Bazen Pamplico, SC Gladys Poston Bazen, 82, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, February 10, 2013 in the McLeod Hospice House after an illness. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at Beulah Free Will Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery, directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Mrs. Bazen was born in Hyman, SC a daughter of the late Harley and Beatrice Calcutt Poston. She was Owner and Operator of Gladys’ Beauty Shop and a member of Beulah Free Will Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Mack Vinson Bazen, who died July 03, 2002; 3 brothers, Monroe, Jethro, and Wayne Poston and a sister, Carolyn Hellams. Surviving are a sister, Ruth Hyman of Pamplico; a number of nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Channie Bazen of Florence, SC.
