GERTRUDE ALLYNNE TURNER GREGG FLORENCE, SC GERTRUDE ALLYNNE TURNER GREGG, 93, of Florence, passed away Thursday, September 13, 2012 at a local health care facility. Mrs. Gregg was born in Florence Co., SC a daughter of the late Talbert Franklin and Allyne Wiggins Turner.She was a member of Evergreen Baptist Church and had worked at Florence Manufacturing for 30 years. She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Phyllis Rebecca Martin. Surviving are her daughter, Gail (Ronnie) Dotson of Effingham; grandchildren, Theresa Ward Poston of Evergreen, Robert Gordon Martin, Jr. of Massachusetts and James Gregory Martin of Florence; great-grandchildren, Erin Nicole (Josh) Britt of Darlington, Preston Tyler Poston and Brandon Marshall Poston of Evergreen; great-great-grandchildren, Taylor Madison Britt and Nevaeh Poston and sister, Lois Turner Waddell of Florence. Memorials may be made to Evergreen Baptist Church, 6316 Pamplico Highway, Florence, SC29505. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, September 16, 2012 in the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home chapel.Burial will follow at Evergreen Baptist Church Cemetery.
