George James Bush

George James Bush, 73, of Florence, passed away on Saturday, September 15, 2018. Mr. Bush was born in Bethlehem, PA a son of the late Raymond Charles Bush and Bernadette Anne Durning Bush. He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force. He was also the owner and operator of Bush’s, Inc. Mr. Bush is a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus. Mr. Bush is survived by son, Joshua Bush (Amber) of Florence; daughters, Wendy Bush McKenzie of Columbia and Melissa “Missie” Bush Edwards (Frank) of Darlington; grandchildren, Riley Perry, Bentley Bush, Capelynn Bush, Meredith McKenzie and Brittany Welch; special friends, Debbie Crider and the Crider/Cagle family and former spouse, Molly McMillan. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his wife, Helen Frey Bush; daughter, Audrey Anne Bush and sister, Jean Anne Larrizza. Family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, September 20, 2018 in the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home chapel.Entombment will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
