George Buffkin

George Buffkin Florence, SC George Buffkin, 88, died Friday, August 08, 2014 of a massive heart attack. He was born on March 08, 1926. He was employed as a painter in Florence for nearly 40 years. Surviving are a daughter, Freda June Summer and her husband, Kyle; Grandchildren, Charles Blake Cameron, Jr. and his wife Peggy of Summerville, Freda Louise Lassiter; great-grandchildren,Robert Blake Lassiter, Chance Daniel Blake Cameron, Kanden Michael Dakota Cameron, Freda Pilar Cameron, Chad Blake Cameron, Courtney Brianna Cameron, Cailyn Brooke Cameron and Christopher Shannon Cameron; great-great-grandchildren, Lana, Kailann, Kailey, Kanden, Blake, Chance, Raelyn, Madison, Dasily and Caleb. He had many friends and acquaintances. He was preceded in death by his parents, George Buffkin and Frances Buffkin,and a grandchild, Charles Blake Cameron. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday at the Church of God of Prophecy in Darlington.
