Gail Stidham Sarvis

Gail Stidham Sarvis, 58, of Florence, SC, passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Sarvis was born in Florence, SC, a daughter of the late James Stidham and Ruby Howard Stidham.She was a 1976 graduate from Wilson High School.She had worked with Camlin Packing Company for thirteen years and then for thirty plus years as a secretary and bookkeeper for Sumter Street Grocery. Mrs. Sarvis was a faithful Christian, wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend. Surviving are her husband of thirty-four years, Wendell Sarvis; son, Stuart Sarvis of Charleston; sister, Debra Stidham (Mike) Isgett of Timmonsville; her mother-in-law, Mary Cecil Sarvis of Florence; and special niece, Tracy Isgett (Bobby) Price and their children, Matthew, Emilee, Joshua and Carlee Price, all of Timmonsville. Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home and other times at her home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 5, 2016, in the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel.Burial will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens.
