Freddie Wailen Watts

Freddie Wailen Watts, 71, of Florence, SC, passed away on Wednesday, June 27, 2018. Mr. Watts was born the son of the late Ralph Wailen Watts and Jewel Maralyn Israel Watts.He graduated from Florence Darlington Technical College and worked with Vulcraft for twenty-five years. Mr. Watts later opened his own company, Carolina Steel Services, from which he retired.He was a life-time member of the NRA and a member of Wildlife Action.Mr. Watts attended Pisgah United Methodist Church and was a lover of the outdoors.He was married to Janet Griffin Watts for forty-eight years. He is survived by his wife, Janet Griffin Watts; daughter, Allison Watts Bilton (Kin) and grandchildren, McKinley Bilton and Elena Bilton. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Joyce Watts Gibson. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, June 29, 2018, at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
