FRANKLIN MYERS STEELE FLORENCE, S.C. FRANKLIN MYERS STEELE, 4 month old son of Allen Dusty and Tara Holland Steele, received his angel wings on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at his residence after a courageous battle with Spinal Muscular Atrophy. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, April 13, 2013 at Calvary Baptist Church, with burial following in Mount Hope Cemetery, directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 P.M. Friday at the Funeral Home and other times at the residence, 1314 Gregg Ave., Florence, SC. Surviving, in addition to his parents of Florence are his brother, James Caden Holland Steele of the home; paternal grandparents, Robert and Marilyn Steele of Hartsville; maternal grandparents, Bill (Sheron) Holland of Scranton and Chip (Cathy) Perkins of Darlington; paternal great-grandmother, Clara Steele of Scranton; maternal great-grandmother, Uldine King of Florence; aunts; Carolyn Rebecca Perkins of Florence, Linzie (Greg) Batchelor of Cheraw, Sunny (Eddie) Stokes of Darlington; uncles, Player Holland of Greenville and Chris (Tara) Perkins of Darlington. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Francine Blackmon.
