Franklin William "Bobo" Filyaw

Franklin William “Bobo” Filyaw, 62, of Florence, passed away at his residence on Wednesday. March 18, 2020. Mr. Filyaw was born in Florence, SC a son of the late William Fate “W.F.” Filyaw and Onita Evans Filyaw.He was a “Mama’s Boy” and owner and operator of Filyaw Roofing. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Marvin Filyaw and by a niece, Lynn Filyaw. Surviving are his sons, Brad Filyaw of Hartsville, SC, Billy Filyaw and Kelly Filyaw, both of Florence; daughters, Marion Dennis and Kristy Jones, both of Florence; 8 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brother, Hubert (Cheryl) Filyaw; sisters, Sarah Broach of Timmonsville, Polly (Bobby) Rose and Brenda (Brian) Ford, both of Florence, Lorie McDaniel of Effingham, and Margie (Joel) Lee of Quinby; special little buddy, Mila Rose “Mia”. The family will receive friends at the home of Hubert Filyaw, 4601 Bannockburn Road. Private graveside services will be held at 12:00 noon Saturday, March 21, 2020 at Matthews Cemetery.
