Francis "Frank" Brian Pauquette

Francis "Frank" Brian Pauquette, 78, of Florence, SC, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 22, 2016. Mr. Pauquette was born in Comstock, NY, a son of the late Melvin Pauquette and Marion Lebarge Pauquette. A graduate of Hartford High School, he served four years in the US Air Force, mostly in Japan. He served as a New York State Corrections Officer prior to becoming a New York State Trooper. He loved serving his community and proudly wore the uniform of the State Police for thirty two years.After retirement, he enjoyed part-time employment before he and his wife, Judy, moved to South Carolina. Frank, affectionately known as “grizz or grizzly bear”, enjoyed traveling, golf and spending time with friends and family. Surviving are his loving wife of 43 years Judy; daughter Terasa Lott and her husband, Eddie, of Darlington SC; stepson, Todd Bradon and his wife, Krista, of Louisville, KY; grandchildren, Cody Bradon and his wife, Aubrey, Jack Bradon and Graham Bradon; brothers, Bernard Pauquette (Vivian), Edmund Pauquette (Margaret), Richard Pauquette (Joan), Andre Pauquette (Irene) and Melvin Pauquette (Mary); one sister, Sharon Bouyea, as well as two great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, William and James; sister, Jean; stepson, Dean Bradon and stepdaughter, Cher Bradon Nichols. A memorial service in Granville, N.Y. with a burial in Wells, Vt., are being arranged with a tentative date of October 1st. Updates will be posted in the Glens Falls Post Star and Granville Sentinel.
