Frances Diane Cheeseman, 62, of Florence, SC, passed away Friday, February 5, 2021 after a 3 year battle with stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. Born in Marion, SC, she was the daughter of the late Rev. Earl Christmas and Alice Christmas. She retired as a Financial Aid Advisor from Florence Darlington Technical College, a job she enjoyed so much because she was always helping others.She was brilliant, never too busy to help someone, always full of knowledge and amazing stories, loved her puppies dearly, and craved to try new things and travel.She grew up a pastor's daughter, which set the foundation for her faith, hope and love in God.Family was extremely important to her.Her children truly were the joys of her life and her reasons for going on in life.She will be dearly missed by family and many friends. She is survived by her husband, Charlie Cheeseman; son, Phillip (Terri Gaskins) Rowell; daughter, Amanda Rowell; brothers, David (Beth) Christmas, John Christmas, and Michael (Margaret) Christmas; half-sister, Rachael (Jason) Caines.She was predeceased by both her parents and by her brother, Russel Christmas. Memorials may be made in the form of donations, or flowers, or to her favorite breast cancer organizations, www.metavivor.org and www.komen.org. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 pm Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, February 11, 2021 in the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Shiloh United Methodist Church Cemetery, Marion, SC.
