Flossie Rebecca Zigler

Flossie Rebecca Zigler, 94, of Florence, passed away Monday, October 1, 2018, in a Florence nursing home after an illness. Mrs. Zigler was born in Pamplico, a daughter of the late Charmon and Tula Hannah Haines. She had lived in Pierre, S.D. for over 30 years. She had retired from the Easter Seal Society in Pierre. She had been a member of Lutheran Memorial Church in Pierre, and was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church in Florence. She was a longtime member of the Eastern Star in Pierre. Surviving are 3 daughters, Caroline Irvin, Linda Zigler and Barbara Zigler, all of Florence; 3 Grandchildren, Sean Buller, Sara Lowery and Ryan Zigler; and three great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Lorenzo Leslie Zigler 3 brothers, Buck Haines, Vincent Haines and Tom Haines; 3 sisters, Murphy Keefe, Effie Berry and Jennie Lewis; and a great grandchild, Clara Zigler. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, October 4, 2018 at Mount Hope Cemetery, directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
