Faye Jones Lawrence

Faye Jones Lawrence, 82, of Florence, passed away on Monday, November 10, 2014 at the Bethea Baptist Home. Mrs. Lawrence was born in Marion, SC a daughter of the late Wheeler and Minnie Ammons Jones.She was a member of the Florence Baptist Temple and had worked for G.E. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wilbur Hook Lawrence and two brothers, Horce Jones and Pete Jones. Surviving are her son, Robert Allen Hill of Greenville, SC; daughters, Mary Anne (Donald) Rogers of Florence and Cathy Hill Elliott of Alaska; sisters, Carol Price of Florence and Ruby Jeffords of Darlington; nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to The Florence Baptist Temple, 2308 South Irby Street, Florence, SC 29505. Graveside services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 in Mount Hope Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
