Evelyn Louise Bailey Perkins

Evelyn Louise Bailey Perkins, age 82, wife of Harold C. Perkins, Sr. for sixty-one years died Saturday, October 10, 2015, after a long, brave fight with cancer, diabetes, lupus and other illnesses. Mrs. Perkins was born in Florence, SC, the daughter of the late MacDonald Bailey and Nattie Large Bailey Moore. She attended McClenaghan High School, Class of 1951.Most of her life was devoted to helping others with their various needs. Mrs. Perkins, in addition to her husband, is survived by her son, Harold C. Perkins, Jr. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by a son, David McLeod Perkins; a brother, Fletcher Collins and her long-time step-father, Carl F. Moore. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 13, 2015, at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
