Evelyn Gilstrap Campbell

Evelyn Gilstrap Campbell, 97, of Florence, SC, passed away on Monday, December 1st, 2025.

She was born in Liberty, SC, the daughter of the late Jack Gilstrap and Etta Dickard Gilstrap. Mrs. Campbell was a member at Ebenezer Baptist Church, where she served in the choir. She was also a member of the Triple L Club and Caring Friends Sunday School Class.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by the father of her children, Jack Rudolph Gaines; husband, Marion DuBose Campbell; daughter, Jackie (Lloyd) Bonds; brother, Paul (Jessie) Gilstrap; and sisters, Jean (Jason) Holliday and Helen Mahaffey.

Surviving are her daughter, Kathy (David) Harrell; sister, Millie (Johnny) Skinner, four grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and special friend, Steve Johnson.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, on Friday, December 5, 2025, at Ebenezer Baptist Church.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, on Friday, December 5, 2025, at the church. A private burial will follow at a later date.
