Eugenia Prevatte Conner

Eugenia Prevatte Conner, 78, of Effingham, passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2015. Mrs. Conner was born in Florence County, SC, a daughter of the late Hugh Turner and Jennie Pridgen Turner.She was the owner/operator and President of Florence Electric Supply and House-O-Light.Mrs. Conner was a member of Lebanon Free Will Baptist Church and former member of Gospel Temple Worship Center. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two husbands, Robert “Bob” Prevatte and Willard J. Conner; and her siblings, infant sister Lucile Turner, Buddy Turner, Arbie Turner, Hugh “Bubba” Turner, Drucilla Calder, Archie Rhea Powell, MaeBelle Powell, Fannie Powell and Willcox Turner. Surviving are her son, Bobby Prevatte and his wife, Kelley, and her parents, Larry and Janice Rogers , all of Effingham; grandchildren, JennaPrevatte and Pressley Anne Prevatte; brother, H. W. (Eloise) Turner of Effingham; sister, Wessie Powell of Florence; sister-in-law, Carol Turner of Effingham; a number of nieces and nephews and four step-children, John Conner, Rusty Conner, Bubba Conner, and Connie Hudson. Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 7, 2015, at Lebanon Free Will Baptist Church directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the residence of Bobby and Kelley Prevatte, 2401 Willow Creek Road, Effingham, SC. Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home and other times at the home of Bobby and Kelley Prevatte. Memorials may be made to McLeod Hospice, P. O.
