Eugene Quincy Belk Lake City, SC Eugene Quincy Belk, 74, of Lake City, SC passed away on Friday, November 28, 2014 in McLeod Regional Medical Center after an illness. Mr. Belk was born in Lake City, SC a son of the late Samuel Quincy Belk and Muriel Teal Belk.He was a member of the Hampton Lodge #204 where he served as a past Master, a member of Mizpah Baptist Church and had attended Lake City United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Pat Lee Belk, who died February 21, 2008 and by his second wife, Connie McLendon Belk, who died March 23, 2012. Surviving are his daughter, Karen( Richard) Langston of Florence; son, Kenny (Suzette) Belk of Simpsonville, SC and Michael (Traci) Belk of Rock Hill, SC; grandchildren, Joshua, Quincy, Miranda, Matthew and Ethan; sisters, Joyce Belk Moore of Florence and Cheryl Belk (Robert) Baker of Cades; special friend, Burdette Carraway and two faithful canine companions, Daisy and Awol. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, November 30, 2014 at Mizpah Baptist Church.Burial will follow in the church cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
