Etta Carol Poston

Etta Carol Poston, 62, beloved daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Felder Poston, passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2014.Carol was cared for at home by her parents until their health declined and she became a resident of the Thad E. Saleeby Center in Hartsville in 1997.She is survived by two brothers, Hubert (Linda) Poston of Pamplico, SC and Steve (Robin) Poston of Scranton, SC; five sisters, Merrie (Jimmy) Hyman of Camden, SC, Rita (Guy) Bell of Lamar, SC, Nell (William)Floyd of Olanta, SC, Brenda Cain of Pamplico, SC and Kathy (Steve) Jackson of Pageland, SC. The family wishes to thank the staff of the Saleeby Center for the love and care shown to Carol during her time there. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Thad E. Saleeby Center, 714 Lewellen Avenue, Hartsville, SC29550. Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 23, 2014, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Pamplico directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.Family will receive friends immediately following the service in the Church Fellowship Hall.
