Ethel McCrackin Elliott Brown Hollywood, SC Ethel McCrackin Elliott Brown, 98, of Hollywood, SC passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2015 at her residence after an illness. Mrs. Brown was born in Horry County, SC a daughter of the late John Mayo McCrackin and Donnie Belle Small McCrackin.She was a member of Rehoboth Baptist Church where she was a member of the WMU and the Scott’s Sunday School Class and was a member of the American Legion Post #160 in Effingham. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Leslie Elliott in 1970; second husband, Carl L. Brown in 1994; by her sons, Weldon Elliott in 1976 and Calvin Elliott in 2014 and by a brothers, Lowe McCracken, Clyde McCracken, Sam McCracken, Ravenel McCracken, Berlon McCracken. Surviving are her daughters, Bobbie Jean (Pete) Munn of Florence, Pearl (Mick) Baker of Yonges Island, SC and Patricia Ann (Lloyd)Roberts of Meggett, SC; step-son, David Brown of Florence; brother, Windell McCracken of Myrtle Beach, SC; eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Dayspring Assisted Living,5146 Towles Road, Hollywood, SC29449. The family will receive friends from 11 – 12:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the service. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 in the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel.Burial will follow in the Florence Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
