Ethel Albrecht

Mrs. Ethel Smith Albrecht, 71, of Florence, SC, passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2016, at home surrounded by her family. Mrs. Albrecht was born in Rose Hill, NC, a daughter of the late Archie Smith and Melva Groves Smith.She was a lifetime bowler, an avid fisher woman, and enjoyed nature and traveling. Surviving are her husband, Dr. John E. Albrecht (Professor of Animal and Veterinary Sciences, Clemson University); son, Dr. Randy A. Albrecht of New York; daughter, Mindy A. (Robert) Saverance of Lamar, SC; grandchildren, John Saverance and Andrew Saverance; brother, Forrest Greene of Lakeview, North Carolina; and sister, Rena Curry of Lexington, NC. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
