Ernestine Susie Galloway

Ernestine Susie Galloway, 80, passed away on Monday, December 17, 2018. Mrs. Galloway was born a daughter of the late Ida Pierce Anderson and Walter Anderson. She was a member of the Eastern Star and the Red Hat Club. Mrs. Galloway was owner of Chipmunk Daycare. She loved her children, her grand kids and puppies.She loved travelling, music, being on the boat at the beach or lake.She was always smiling! “She found the positive in any situation!” In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Franklin Editor Galloway; sons, Tony Galloway and Mike Galloway; grandson, Allen Galloway; sisters, Kathleen Eslinger, Betty Miles, Marian Miles and Dixie Coker; brother, Joe Anderson; step-sister, Colleen Owens; step-brothers, Wysong Anderson and Quanty Anderson; and daughter-in-law, Velma Galloway. Mrs. Galloway is survived by her sons, Clint Galloway (Vanessa/deceased), Timmie Galloway (Tammy) and Steve Galloway (Kelly); daughter, Jeanie Hughes (Gregg); grandchildren, Timmie Galloway, Jr. (Phillip), April Galloway-Susenbach (Donnie), Lisa Galloway, Amanda Galloway (Brian), Scott Galloway (Stacey), Gregory Hughes, Chapel Hughes (Bubba), Stefan Spain (Lucas), Zach Galloway (Taylor) and step-granddaughter, Amanda Miley; fifteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren and special friend Dexter Altman. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, December 21, 2018, at the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will follow at Mount Hope Mausoleum directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Thursday at the funeral home.
