Ernest Guy Moore Iii

Ernest Guy Moore III, 83, of Florence, SC passed away Monday, December 23, 2024. Guy was born in Lake City, SC, the son of the late Ernest Guy Moore, Jr. and Cora Lynn Baker Moore. He was a longtime member of Liberty Chapel Church of Florence and retired from Smurfit Stone Container Corp. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, Bill (Paula) Moore, Charles (Lisa) Moore and Carl Moore. Surviving are his wife, Carol White Moore; daughter, Sheri Moore; son, Rocky (Emmy) Moore; granddaughter, Caroline Moore; brothers, Larry (Stephanie) Moore, Don (Phyllis) Moore, Stoney (Maggie) Moore; sister, Carolyn (Keith) Ard; and many nieces and nephews.. Memorials may be made to Liberty Chapel Church of Florence-Scholarship Fund, P. O. Box 13502, Florence, SC 29504. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Thursday, December 26, 2024, at Liberty Chapel Church Cemetery, with the visitation to follow in the Fellowship Hall.
