Eloris Herlene Lee King

Eloris Herlene Lee King, 92, of Florence, SC, passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2017. Ms. King was born in Florence, SC, a daughter of the late William Pinckney Lee and Bessie Lola Young.She was a sales associate at Roses and retired after 30 years of service.Ms. King was known to an abundance of nieces and nephews as “Aunt Loke”. She was an avid gardener and loved to be outdoors.She would often feed the birds, rabbits, and squirrels that would visit her in her yard.Ms. King was devoted to her family. She was the anchor that held everyone together.She was loving and compassionate, yet independent and strong willed.Ms. King will be greatly missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Georgie Bochette; son, Terry King; brothers, Hamp Lee, Doug Lee, Charles “Bo” Lee, John Lee, Buddy Lee and Nicodemus Lee and her sisters, Juanita Rauch and Ellaree Cottingham. Surviving are her daughters, Suzan (Orell) Lee of Timmonsville and Jeannie (Eddie) Smith of Tennessee; daughter-in-law, Ann King; grandchildren, Tracie (Freddie) Davis of Timmonsville, Heather (Scott) Brown of Florence, Mitchell (Beth) Lee of Effingham, Dana Smith of Tennessee and Billy (April) Smith of Tennessee; great-grandchildren, Mahala Davis, Micah Davis, Collin Davis, Gabriel Davis, Landon Brown, Haedyn Lee, Gracie Smith, Ava Sherrill, Natalie Sherrill, Kaleb Smith, Morgan Smith, and Allie Wiles. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 5, 2017, at the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel.Burial will follow at Unity Christian Fellowship Church Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
