Eloise Baxley Hutchinson

Eloise Baxley Hutchinson, 81, of Florence, passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2019. Mrs. Hutchinson was born a daughter of the late Cornelia Powers Baxley and Brad Baxley.She assisted with the childcare for many families over the years.Mrs. Hutchinson was loved by everyone who knew her.She was a member of Truth Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Gilbert A. Hutchinson; grandson, Kaleb Abbot; sisters, Mary Avant, Lillian Johnson and Ruby Howell; brothers, Van Baxley and James Allen Baxley; and brother-in-law, George Gerald “Monty” Hutchinson. Mrs. Hutchinson is survived by daughters, Amanda Hutchinson (Steve), Melanie Pease (Paul) and Nicki Abbot; grandchildren, Anthony Pease, Erica Currin, Kalyn Abbot, Kasey Pease, Travis Currin and Payton Abbot; great-grandchild, Elizabeth Whittington; sisters, Nancy Matthews (Sonny), Linda Kiker (Wayne); special sister-in-law, Nell Strickland; and special brother-in-law, Willie Dale Hutchinson. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 31, 2019, at the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel.Burial will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. on Friday at the funeral home and other times at the home of Nell Strickland.
