Ellis Cain Turner

Ellis Cain Turner Pamplico, SC Ellis Cain Turner, 73, of Pamplico, passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at his residence after an illness. Mr. Turner was born in Marion County, a son of the late Hinson and Rosa Lee Hayes Turner.He retired from Manufactured Housing in Sumter.Mr. Turner was a member of Bethel Free Will Baptist Church. He is preceded in death in addition to his parents by a brother, Mitchell Turner. Surviving are his loving wife of 38 years, Glenda Anderson Turner of Pamplico; eight children, Ricky (Kathy) Turner of Missouri, Wayne Turner of Darlington, Steven Turner of Pamplico, Sherri Turner and Soynna Turner both of Darlington, Ronnie Anderson of Coward, Libby (Bobby) Loveless of Pamplico, and Matt (Lisa) Anderson of Columbia; two brothers,JT (Gail) Turner and Ray (Holly) Turner both of Florence; three sisters, Wanda Gail (Gene) Streett and Nancy (Sam) Clewis both of Conway and Linda F. (Hub) Bailey of Florence; and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, April 19, 2013 in the chapel of Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Thompson Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Carolinas Hospice, 121 E. Cedar Street, Florence, SC29501. The family will receive friends from 2 – 3 PM Friday at the funeral home and other times at 1058 Nita Cain Road, Pamplico.
