Ellie Vera Ives McInville Florence, South Carolina Ellie Vera Ives McInville, 87, of Florence, passed away on Saturday, September 1, 2012 in a local health care facility after an illness. Mrs. McInville was born in Camden, SC, a daughter of the late William Ansley and Ida Elizabeth Barnes Ives.She was a member of Summerton Baptist Church. She is preceded in death in addition to her parents by her husband of 68 years, Wiley J. McInville, Sr. and a brother, William Ansel Ives. Surviving are five children, Sylvia M. (Gary) Lewis of Kernersville, NC, Brenda M. (Phil) Walden of Lillington, NC, Wiley J. "Mac" (Elsa) McInville, Jr., Andy (Susan) McInville, and Mitzi M. (Jimmy) Mathers all of Florence; eleven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 in the chapel of Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.Burial will follow in the Florence National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to a church or charity of one's choice. The family will receive friends from 10-11 AM Tuesday at the funeral home.
